* International Departure Fee
The international departure charge from Wellington airport is $25 for adults and $10 for children aged 2-12 years. There is no charge for infants under 2 years old.
All passengers on international flights out of Wellington must pay this charge, and when it is paid they will receive a cheerful little sticker on their boarding pass, which will be viewed when passing through the customs area upon entering the departure lounge.
If you have booked through a travel agent, there is a chance that you have pre-paid your departure fee, in which case you will have a sticker on your ticket.
