Give Them a Proper Goodbye
It’s now become easier to travel at your own leisure, find a car park and say a proper goodbye. Wellington Airport has doubled capacity of the upper level car park to ease peak time congestion and provide more space for our travellers’ pick-up and drop-off needs.
You can now park undercover and head up the escalator to check-in. When exiting, you can simply pick up your luggage and walk across the road undercover to your car (a process which has also been made a lot easier with self check-in).
Remember to book online to guarantee a park and save.
Parking Promotion
Sunday to Wednesday all day parking for $13 per day:
From November 4th to December 20th, you can park your car in the terminal for $13 a day for any day between Sunday and Wednesday. To top this off, you’ll also receive one free entry into the Corporate Box.

Upgrade and go premium for an extra $5 per day:
To upgrade to a Premium park will be an extra $5 which is $18 in total.

Mount Victoria Tunnel Refurbishment
Also note that from May to December, Mount Victoria Tunnel will be closed between 8pm-6am Sunday – Thursday nights. Please use alternative routes.
Premium
Premium parking offers covered, weather protected parking, at the closest possible point to the airport terminal.
Premium parking has a secure perimeter and additional security cameras monitoring all vehicles.
Terminal
Terminal parking is adjacent to the main terminal building. There are two entries – one at the north of the car park and one further to the south (Note: Previously know as Uncovered car park).
Heart
The Heart car park is located at the southern end of the main terminal building.
Entry is past the Terminal and Premium car park entrances (Note: Previously known as Value car park)
Long Term
If you are off on holiday our Long Term option is right for you!
Entry is via Freight Drive at the southern end of the airport. The Long Term car park and free shuttle service to the airport terminal operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
In the unlikely event that the car park is full you will be directed by a staff member to alternative parking.

All parking fees are payable when you leave the car park at any Auto Pay Station, Credit Card on Exit, or at the Parking Service Kiosk. Payment is possible by EFTPOS cash or credit card. Credit cards accepted are Amex, Diner’s Club, Visa and MasterCard. EFTPOS is only available at the Parking Service Kiosk.
