Passenger Departure Charges
The international departure charge from Wellington airport is $25 for adults (12+) and $10 for children aged 2-11 years. There is no charge for an infant under 2 years old.
All passengers on international flights out of Wellington must pay this charge, and when it is paid they will receive a cheerful little sticker on their boarding pass, which will be viewed when passing through the customs area upon entering the departure lounge.
If you have booked through a travel agent, there is a chance that you have pre-paid your departure fee, in which case you will have a sticker on your ticket.

Landing Charges for Operators of Non Passenger Services

Operators of these aircraft will continue to pay a charge based on an aircraft Maximum Certified Take Off Weight.
The charges are:

| 30 tonne and over | $18.00 |
| Above 2 tonne and less than 30 tonne | $8.70 |
Landing Charges - Parking Charges
All Prices are GST exclusive
This applies to itinerant aircraft with MCTOW greater than 6 tonne (as per current practice)

| From six hours to 5 days | $ 82.50 |
| From 6 days to 10 days | $110.00 |
| In excess of 11 days | $165.00 |
Landing Charges - General Aviation
All Prices are GST exclusive
Operators of general aviation aircraft will continue to pay a charge per landing subject to a minimum monthly charge.
The charges are:
- Charge per landing $17.50
- Minimum charge per month $35.00
Consultation on Airport Charges
Wellington Airport has commenced consultation with its airline customers on the airport charges that will apply from 1 April 2012.
